As I write this blog post, I am filled with a sense of accomplishment and gratitude. In just a few weeks, I will be graduating, not only with a bachelor of science in family and consumer sciences but also with a degree in parenthood. This milestone marks not only the end of one chapter but the beginning of an exciting new journey.

The journey to this moment has been nothing short of challenging, yet incredibly rewarding. Balancing the demands of school with the responsibilities of being a mother and an entrepreneur has tested my time management skills, patience, and resilience in ways I never imagined. But through it all, I've discovered a strength within myself that I didn't know existed.
My days often start at 5 am, as I rise to prepare for the day ahead. From there, it's a whirlwind of activity as I shuttle my child to their various activities - after-school swim classes, basketball practice, book club, and local events, all while juggling my own commitments. Evenings are filled with homework help, dinner preparation, and quality time with my family.
Despite the hectic schedule, I wouldn't have it any other way. Each moment spent with my child is precious, and I cherish the opportunity to support him in pursuing their interests and passions. And amidst it all, I find time to volunteer in my community, giving back in any way I can.
There have been late nights of studying after putting him to bed, early mornings filled with school drop-offs and meetings, and moments of doubt when it seemed like I couldn't possibly do it all. But with the unwavering support of my family, friends, and the incredible community of fellow parents and entrepreneurs, I've pushed through every obstacle and come out stronger on the other side.
I want to take a moment to recognize the extraordinary resilience of single parents who navigate these challenges independently. To the single mothers and fathers who make it happen for their households every day, your strength and perseverance are truly inspiring. Despite the obstacles you face, you continue to show up, work hard, and provide for your children, all while pursuing your dreams and goals. Your determination and resilience deserve to be celebrated.
Being a mother, a student, and an entrepreneur simultaneously has taught me invaluable lessons about perseverance, prioritization, and the power of resilience. It's shown me that with determination and dedication, anything is possible, even when the odds seem stacked against you.
